A check in screen built into when opening an event to be converted to a service when it is mapping to a billable service that requires users to go through the check in process being built into the application would be useful. The following workflow/process would be ideal:
Page 1: Client Alerts
Display any alerts on a chart (see my idea titled "Clients: Chart Alerts")
Page 2: Client Contact Information
During a typical check in process administrative staff and/or clinical staff need to verify phone number and billing address. It would be great to have this information appear to be verified during the check in process, and allow for changes to be made if the results are different, and only display this information for verification every 14 days to be asked for verification. Once done, clicking a next button to take you to the next page.
Page 3: Insurance and Copays
Display the insurance on file to be verified if there are changes or not as well as any copays listed with the payer with the ability to enter any paid balances/copays while in the same screen. Once done, clicking a next button to take you to the next page.
Page 4: Assigned Forms
Pull any assigned forms that have not been completed that were assigned to the client to be completed and have the capability to re-assign the form to a supplemental device for completion if the provider has that option set up. Click done, and it conver the event into a service.
BONUS POINT IF WE ARE ABLE TO HAVE CHECK IN SCREENS SENT AS PART OF AN SMS REMINDER OR IF CLIENTS CAN DO IT THROUGH THE CLIENT PORTAL BEFORE ARRIVING. EVEN MORE INCREDIBLE IF THERE WAS A WAY FOR CIENTS TO CHECK THEMSELVES IN USING A KIOSK SETUP WITH A TABLET.
