3.69+ Bug: Account Tab Claims Access Permission Not Respected

In versions 3.69+ with the new feature of claims being added to the account tab of a client chart, the system does not acknowledge/respect permissions from user groups for those who should have access to claims, and for those that should not.

For example, if a user is part of a group where they do not have access to claims, they can still view claims and the claims details screen from the account tab of a client chart, but cannot edit them, and there is currently no way to restrict this.

It would be ideal if someone DOES have access to claims based on their user group permissions then they can see the claims balance, client balance, and unapplied with the option to view claims and payments.

If they DO NOT have access then it should be how it was prior to 3.69 where all the user sees is client balance, unapplied, and payments.

We have also submitted a support case for this. We cannot give users who do not have permissions to the Claims Screen a way to get to the claims screen from another spot. If a user needs a way to give client balance information to folks that should not have permissions to Claims - then a simple report could do that.

This would require a new permission to restrict access to the Claims tab within the Client Account Inquiry.

The purpose of the new tab was to give insight to users without access to Claims as to how a Client acquired their Self Pay balance.

Other customers requested this because their front desk and back office staff could not answer client questions concerning balances. But they did not want to give those users access to the Claims screen.
