Expand to allow date ranges in Remittances

Would it be possible to add a date range to filter the large list of our remittances? Currently we can only see one date at a time. Sometimes we want to see a month's worth or a week's worth of a certain insurance instead of just one date. And also being able to sort by column headers would be great too and sub-totals (see other submitted ideas).
